Xposed and Lollipop: the modules that work on Android 5.1 -[AndroidTutor2018]

AndroidTutor2018- As many of you know, work on the Xposed Framework slowed down a little with the transition to Android Lollipop. While development continues on Xposed for Android 5.0, Android 5.1 is on the back burner until 5.0 becomes stable. Nevertheless, many of your favorite modules still work on Android 5.1 and we have the list for you here. See below for the Xposed modules that work on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

What is Xposed Framework?
What happened to Xposed Framework on Lollipop?
In case you missed the back story, Xposed, the framework that allows you to perform minor tweaks in the Android system without needing to flash ROMs - because the changes are stored in memory - has slowed a bit since Lollipop was introduced.
This is because the original developer of Xposed, rovo89, encountered problems with some Lollipop features. Android Run Time (ART) caused issues , as did SELinux, making development more time consuming and complex. Devices running TouchWiz wouldn't work at all.

While rovo89 is continuing to stabilize Xposed for Android 5.0, other devs have picked up where he left off and have been working on Android 5.1 and Android 5.1.1 with his permission. A couple of these developers, romracer and C3C076 in particular, have released modified versions of Xposed that will work on the latest version of Android, although not all modules work and TouchWiz devices continue to have issues.
How do I get Xposed Framework on Android 5.1?
If you want to make use of the modules listed below, be sure to visit the XDA Developers thread for romracer's alpha version or C3C076's alpha version. Read up on what's working, what's not and how to fix any bugs you might encounter.
You will then need to flash the Xposed Framework zip through recovery and get the Installer APK on your device. Make a full backup of your system before proceeding and turn off any currently installed modules before flashing the zip file.

The exact files you want will depend on the Android version you're running and which alpha version you want to use. Keep in mind that development continues daily; for example, the dev behind Gravity Box has already made some additional tweaks that return functionality to Greenify, Flat Style Colored Bars, Amplify and Gravity Box amongst others, so don't use this list as definitive. Take a look at the latest posts in the XDA thread, get flashing and let us know which modules you like best.
