Maybe worth noting that sometimes a user is "downloading" without thinking about it - e.g. opening a PDF or image file from a browser or from search - it opens in an app, you look at it once and forget about it - and these things can build up in that Download folder unless it's checked and emptied now and then. I'm often surprised at what's in there.

Hi,
Sometime you will not be able to see some files in Settings> storage> download.
At this time go to home screen and tap on file manager app> phone storage> select download and tap on this.
To delete a file, long touch on the file and see the bin icon below. Tap on this and confirm delete.
